In late October the international trade festival of world music, WOMEX, will be held on Danish soil for the third time. Delegates from around the world will meet at the fair in FORUM. At the official concerts in DR Koncerthuset you can experience music from every corner of the world.

Danish Musicians’ Union Copenhagen (DMF Copenhagen) presents GLOBENHAGEN – a festival with 10 Danish world music and folk acts. The unconventional venue Avenue Hotel at Åboulevard is within convenient walking distance from FORUM where all the world music VIP’s are gathered. The event should be seen as a complement to the music trade fair WOMEX. GLOBENHAGEN 2011 has free access for all - both WOMEX delegates and citizens of Copenhagen.
